Yoga can transform you inside and out, it has happened to me.
I used to depressed, it had happened to me about every 3 month, but after few years of practicing Yoga, I realized I no longer depressed, my depression was gone!!
It was "wow" moment, and my body was in the best shape in my whole life!
Yoga helped me to accept who I am, lighten up my life, and made me happier person!
People call me yogi, because I've been practicing yoga for a while, but a lot of people who I think of yogi do not practice yoga as we know, "doing asana(poses) on mat". My definition of yogi is "be authentic you, be kind, have gratitude, accept what it is (not what you want it to be)", just be a good person, being now, and practicing Yoga can take you there.
I always say that yoga is for everybody, I love both Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga, in the end both style will reach your mind to keep calm and grounded.
And there is a form of yoga for you, find the one, just like shopping for shoes, find one that fits you perfectly! Let's start your yoga shopping!
If you don't enjoy "Yoga"(the one that you do poses on a mat), then "Your Yoga"(physical part of Yoga) may be in some different form, and that is OK, but if there is something that bring you back to the mat, maybe you are already into your yoga journey, and I will be so grateful to be a part of your journey, let's fall in love with practicing yoga together.

What I Enjoy... |
Other than yoga, I enjoy good craft beer with company of good friends, it's been said that moderate drinking of craft beer is good for you, so is laughter.
I also like spending time with my canine companions. As yogi, I can learn "Live Fully & Love Unconditionally" from them. Puppy breath is " fragrance of pure love"!! |

Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. Living in U.S.A. since 1992.
My first experience of yoga was at local gym in TX 2001.(I haven't stop practicing yoga since) Start teaching yoga in 2010, becoming RYT200 yoga teacher with YogaFit in 2011, RYT500 with Live Love Teach in 2015, and certified Restorative Yoga Teacher by Judith Hanson Lasater in 2016. |
