I love offering hands-on adjustment in my yoga class, it is a great opportunities to get to know your students better.
I remember that I always enjoy receiving adjustments/assistance from Yoga teacher when I was just a student in yoga class. It made me feel special, I felt that I was cared, I gained trust toward to the teachers and enjoy those teacher's class more..
Time has changed since, some of the popular hands-on adjustment may not be propriety in this time, however I believe as yoga teacher, we should offer adjustments to students, deepen their yoga practice, fall in love with practicing yoga deeper, make practice safer by keeping students away from unsafe body alignment.
In the end, we all want to make student's lives better, happier and healthier with yoga (so we'll be happier!). Offering adjustments in a class is a tool to guide students to that direction.
I love to improve quality of students lives with yoga, laugh and smile more, Offering adjustments deepen your relationship with students, and lead to more smiles and laugher in the class, creating fun class that they want to come back.
I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to share my passion, and excited to see new people, new friend, and more!!
